O’Chiese Education Authority is currently accepting applications for an Occupational
Therapist for the 2024/2025 school year.
The applicant will:
- be willing to drive out to O’Chiese bi-weekly
- be willing to work with an Educational Assistant who will run the program based
on the Occupational Therapist’s programming and recommendations when they
aren’t there - be willing to work with a variety of students from Kindergarten to Grade 12.
- be willing to have an understanding of First Nation (Saulteaux specifically)
practices and culture
Our school has approximately 240 students from K-12, 18 teaching staff, and 17 support
staff. Our school offers traditional Saulteaux language and land-based classes to
students. Our community is located in the foothills with a beautiful scenic view of the
Canadian Rockies, close to local parks, within a 45-minute drive of Rocky Mountain
House and approximately 2.5 hour drive to Banff, Jasper, Calgary and Edmonton.
