General Description
O’Chiese School is currently accepting applications for an Adult Education Coordinator for Math and Science starting immediately.
This individual will work with students who are a part of our Online Education Program for Adult learners working primarily with those who are 18+.
Key Responsibilities
They will be responsible for:
- Teaching and supporting students in the Online Adult Education program for the Math and Science courses
- Checking and marking student work
- Doing weekly check ins with students to monitor their progress via email or phone call
- Working with the Adult Education Coordinator for English and Social
This individual will be required to:
- Have a Bachelor’s of Education degree from an accredited institution
- A teaching license valid in one of the Canadian provinces
- Be organized and able to manage multiple courses at once
- A background working in High School Math and Science
- Experience working with technology (laptops and online teaching platforms)
