O’Chiese Education Authority is currently accepting applications for one Music Teacher to start August 27, 2025. .
The applicant will:
- have a background specialized in teaching Music to K-12 students
- be willing to incorporate First Nation music into their curriculum
- have experience teaching First Nation students
- have the ability to manage the differentiation of student learning
- be trauma-informed or willing to become trauma-informed
Our school has approximately 240 students from K-12, 18 teaching staff, and 17 support staff. Our school offers traditional Saulteaux language and land-based classes to students. Our community is located in the foothills with a beautiful scenic view of the Canadian Rockies, close to local parks, within a 45-minute drive of Rocky Mountain House and approximately 2.5 hour drive to Banff, Jasper, Calgary and Edmonton.
