Online High School & Academic Upgrading
O’Chiese School is proud to offer flexible online high school and academic upgrading opportunities for our students and community members. We recognize that everyone’s path is different, and this program is designed to support learners at any stage—whether you are returning to school, working toward graduation, or upgrading courses for future opportunities.
Our online program allows learners to complete courses at a pace that fits their lives, while staying connected to supportive teachers and staff. This flexibility makes it easier to balance school with family, work, and community responsibilities.
Academic upgrading provides an opportunity to strengthen skills, improve marks, or complete required courses for post-secondary education, training programs, or employment. All courses follow the Alberta curriculum and contribute toward recognized high school credits.
At O’Chiese School, we are committed to supporting the success of our community by creating a welcoming, respectful, and culturally grounded learning environment. We believe in walking alongside our learners as they build confidence, reach their goals, and create strong futures for themselves and their families. Currently registration is only open to those of Indigenous background (status or non-status). We are working on opening it up further in the near future.
